Sorah Yang is a choreographer, entrepreneur, and creative director, and has been teaching dance professionally for the past 10 years. After graduating from USC with a degree in Business Administration, she decided to shift lanes and pursue dance. Since then she’s traveled to 27+ countries worldwide and over 30 colleges around the US to share her craft. Her academic background, upbringing rooted in singing, sports, and leadership, and devotion to empowering the communities around her creates a distinct blend that stretches beyond dance. She was invited to give her first TEDx Talk in 2019 where she discussed her nonlinear path from college to a career in the arts. Aside from her dance community involvement with world-renowned teams like GRV, she also choreographs and directs music videos, tours, and live shows for international music artists, operates her own clothing brand, and most recently got brought on as the Associate Choreographer for the upcoming Britney Spears Broadway Musical under directors Keone & Mari Madrid.
