Instructor Bio

Derrique is an LA-based, Bay Area-bred dancer & choreographer. He started dancing at age 10, training in various genres of dance including Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Ballet with Chapkis Dance company. Derrique has danced for artists and brands like Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty, Childish Gambino, Nike, Facebook, and Pepsi. He now choreographs for GRV and Gravy Babies, and serves as the Director for GRV’s newest junior training team, G-train. Derrique aspires to be a Creative Director & Choreographer for major artists, tours, music videos and more.
