Isidro Rafael

Instructor Bio

San Diego native Isidro Rafael was first introduced to choreography in elementary school. He started by copying Jabbawockeez videos on YouTube and dancing in the garage with his best friends Chris Banaga, Aj Jimenez, and Mitch Villareal in the garage. He started taking dance classes just 5 years ago, once he retired from playing soccer and had time dedicate to dance. Isidro joined 220 in 2015, and is now one of the directors of the team. He also co-founded and co-directs a project team called Meraki, and co-directs a junior team called Syde FX. Isidro currently balances culinary school with dancing, directing, and traveling internationally to teach classes and workshops.
