Madeline Houk

Instructor Bio

Madeline Houk is a principal dancer with the American Contemporary Ballet and the San Jose Dance Theatre as well as a guest artist with premiere contemporary dance company The Rosin Box Project. She trained year round at the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Professional Division and the Walnut Hill School for the Arts. Based in Los Angeles, Madeline also graduated from UCLA with a bachelor of arts in communication studies while she danced professionally with the Los Angeles Ballet for seven consecutive seasons. She has always enjoyed teaching and has been on faculty at the San Elijo Dance and Music Academy and the Los Angeles Ballet School in addition to being a guest teacher at Laguna Dance Theatre, and coaches students privately.
