Ysa Penarejo

Instructor Bio

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Ysa fell in love with dancing at 4 years old. Growing up, she trained in jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and tumbling, dancing competitively throughout high school. At the age of 8, Ysa began booking acting jobs for networks like Netflix, Lifetime, and the CW. She has also danced for the popular KPop group Aespa. She currently dances on San Diego’s adult professional hip hop team Choreo Cookies and teaches dance at Diamond Bar High School while continuing to build her acting career.
